What this tab covers How much is left and how much is held. For minerals and energy: reserves, current output, years of supply and recycling for the top five countries. For farm commodities: production, ending stocks and stocks-to-use for the top five producers (USDA, October 2026). It also covers inventories and stockpiles.

#### Top five countries: reserves, output and years of supply

| Country | Reserves t Be content | Current output t Be content (mine production, 2025e) | Years of supply | Recycling |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| **United States** | 19,000 | 230 | 83 | 20-25% of consumption may be recycled |
| **Brazil** | – | 80 | – | n/a |
| **China** | – | 77 | – | n/a |
| **Nigeria** | – | 40 | – | n/a |
| **Mozambique** | – | 3 | – | n/a |

USGS MCS 2026, Beryllium (world mine production and reserves table). Years of supply = reserves ÷ current output; reserves grow as prices and technology change, so this is not a countdown.

#### Recycling

World reserves are not available; only Utah's proven and probable bertrandite reserves (about 19,000 t Be) are given, and world identified resources exceed 100,000 t, about 60% in the US (USGS 2026). Mozambique's USGS figure (3 t Be) is far below World Mining Data's 1,421 t of gross concentrate in 2024, showing how uncertain artisanal data are. Recycling may supply 20-25% of US consumption and the leading producer recovers about 40% of beryllium in alloy scrap (USGS 2026); the EU end-of-life recycling input rate is 0% (EU CRM 2023). No India figure exists.

World reserves are not reported. In Utah, proven and probable bertrandite reserves hold about 19,000 t of beryllium, over 80 years of current US output. World resources exceed 100,000 t, about 60% of them in the United States. Recycling is better than the EU's 0% end-of-life input rate suggests. Scrap, both new and old, may supply 20-25% of US consumption. The leading producer recovers about 40% of the beryllium in returned alloy scrap. The US National Defense Stockpile offered 7 t of metal for disposal in FY2025.

#### Recycling
End-of-life recycling input rate in the EU: 0% of demand met from post-consumer scrap (EU CRM study 2023).

Scrap may supply 20-25% of US consumption, and the leading producer recovers about 40% of the beryllium in alloy scrap.
