FAOSTAT records 75.9 million tonnes of grapes in 2024, slightly down from 76.9 million in 2020 but up from 59.7 million in 1990. China grew 22.2%, Italy 10.1%, Spain 7.1%, the United States 6.5%, France 6.3% and India 5.1%. The HHI of 833 shows production is unconcentrated. The mix differs by country. China and India grow mainly table grapes and raisins, while Italy, Spain and France grow mostly for wine.
