What this tab covers How it flows between countries: the largest bilateral trade routes drawn on a world map, 2024 UN Comtrade export and import values with the top exporters and importers by share, plus shipping routes, chokepoints and trade restrictions.

USGS import data show how rhenium moves. Despite domestic output, the US imported 75% of its needs in 2025. Its 2021-24 imports came from Chile (31%), Canada (27%), Germany (16%) and Poland (14%). APR came chiefly from Canada, Kazakhstan, Poland and Chile. Imports of unwrought metal and powder rose 83% in 2025. Germany and Canada appear because they refine and recycle, not because they mine. US tariffs are low: 3.1% on APR and 3% on powders.

No distinct HS trade code for this commodity, so trade flows are not charted.
