What this tab covers How it flows between countries: the largest bilateral trade routes drawn on a world map, 2024 UN Comtrade export and import values with the top exporters and importers by share, plus shipping routes, chokepoints and trade restrictions.UN Comtrade shows 2024 exports of magnesium and articles (HS 8104) worth $2.14 billion. China supplied 60.3%, far ahead of Israel (5.8%), Austria (4.1%) and the United Kingdom (3.7%). Imports of $1.97 billion were led by the United States (18.4%), Canada (10.2%), Germany (7.8%) and India (5.5%). The US buys little Chinese metal because of duties.
